Manufactured by Veril Line Systems,[2] B0-LT, nicknamed "Bolts," was an EGL power droid from the planet Batuu. During the First Order occupation of the planet[1] in 34 ABY,[3] there was a 525-credit bounty on B0-LT for reprogramming, evading arrest, and illegal self-modification with a blast shield. The bounty also stated that bounty hunters should not attempt to blast the droid and requested that B0-LT be returned whole or in parts to Mubo,[1] proprietor of the Droid Depot in Black Spire Outpost on Batuu.[4]
B0-LT hid in one of the outpost's buildings but was located with a thermal scanner by a visitor to the outpost who had been assigned the droid's bounty by the Bounty Hunters' Guild. The visitor then reported the droid's location to the local Guildmaster's Hideout in order to claim the reward.[1]
Behind the scenes
B0-LT appeared as part of Star Wars: Batuu Bounty Hunters, an augmented reality video game launched at Walt Disney World[1] on July 27, 2022.[5] The image used to represent B0-LT[1] is a reused promotional image of the droid EGL-21,[6] who appeared in the 2015 sequel trilogy film, Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens.[7]
