Bnar's Sacrifice was a unique brown lightsaber crystal that belonged to the legendary Jedi Master Ood Bnar. When Bnar was cut down during the time of the Old Republic, he left his lightsaber crystal as a legacy to those who would come after him.[2] Once a Force-sensitive had tuned this crystal to be used in their lightsaber, it could be used by no other.[1]
Behind the scenes
Bnar's Sacrifice appeared in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts,[1] prior to its closure on December 15, 2011.[3] The crystal was made unavailable following the release of the Publish 25, a.k.a. the "New Game Enhancements," on November 15, 2005, that totally revamped the Jedi profession.[4]
