The attack on the Kashyyyk outpost was a battle which occurred on Kashyyyk prior to the Battle of Yavin. The Y-wings of Gold Squadron attacked an Imperial outpost on the planet. Flying as Jon Vander's wingman, Hol Okand used his ion cannons to bring down the outpost's deflector shields.
