Attack on the Grand Hunt

The attack on the Inner Rim planet Pijal's Grand Hunt took place^[1] in 40 BBY.^[2] Prior to the event, the Pijali Princess Fanry ordered her enslaved attendant, Cady, to reprogram the hunt's prey, a crab droid, with the intent to kill the princess. Privately, Fanry hoped that the attack would scare her regent, Rael Averross, into postponing the signage of the upcoming Governance Treaty.^[1]

During the event, the droid acted as intended and fired upon Fanry until the Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi and Qui-Gon Jinn destroyed it. Afterward, an investigation was launched into the droid's sabotage. Despite their best efforts, the pair were unable to procure enough evidence to determine who had reprogrammed the droid.^[1]
