- "One of my drone-mates once gave me an excuse, listing the reasons they couldn't protect the queen when our nest was attacked by hueches. Do you know what I did? […] I ripped off their head and feasted on their ganglia. […] They were delicious."
- ―Jinnix
By 252 BBY,[1] hueches attacked a Colicoid nest which included its queen, Jinnix, and his drone-mate. During the attack, the drone-mate failed to protect the queen and afterward listed to Jinnix the reasons for why they had failed. Seeing the reasons as excuses for their failure, Jinnix ripped off the drone-mate's head and ate their ganglia. Sometime later, when Jinnix was a Storm in the Nihil marauder organization, he informed his Strike Towl of the attack on his nest by hueches and his response to his drone-mates attempts to explain their failure to protect the queen when Towl made an excuse for not following an order.[2]
Behind the scenes
The attack on a Colicoid nest was mentioned in flashbacks in The High Republic: Tempest Runner, a 2021 audio drama written by Cavan Scott and published as a part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's[3] Phase I.[4]

Notes and references
- ↑ 1.0 1.1 Star Wars: Timelines dates the events of The High Republic: Tempest Runner to 231 BBY. Star Wars: Timelines establishes that Asgar Ro became Eye of the Nihil in 252 BBY and The High Republic: Eye of the Storm 1 depicts Lourna Dee as a member of the Nihil at this point. As Tempest Runner establishes that Dee joined the Nihil after the raid in the Abrion sector, the raid must have taken place by 252 BBY. The audio drama further states that the hueche attack occurred before the Abrion sector raid, therefore meaning it also took place by 252 BBY.
