The Ashiga Cryochamber was a section of the Ashiga Clan Stronghold where the Ashiga Clan stored the origin strand.[2]
History
In 3 ABY,[3] Crimson Dawn supported Krisk Ashiga in a coup attempt to replace Queen Ashiga, ruler of the Ashiga Clan. Crimson Dawn however, used the distraction of the coup to try and take control of the origin strand, the generic coding of the clan, which would give them control over the Ashiga Clan. However a thief named Kay Vess, who was hired to sneak in and take down the stronghold's defense, learned of the plans on the origin strand and intercepted the Crimson Dawn agents at the cryochamber where she fought off the Dawn and protected the origin strand. She was later instructed to bring the strand to the throne room and decide the outcome of the coup.[2]
In 35 ABY, the cryochamber was destroyed along with the planet during the Destruction of Kijimi by the Sith Eternal with the Xyston-class Star Destroyer Derriphan of the Final Order fleet.[1]

The Ashiga Cryochamber first appeared in the 2024 video game, Star Wars Outlaws, developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft. It is only accessible during the "Hive" main quest.[2]
