Arporatal-Lanin was a rugged world located in the Arporatal-Lanin system of the Juvex sector, a part of the Senex-Juvex region in the Western Reaches portion of the Mid Rim. A hyperlane connected it to the Thull's Vault system. Arporatal-Lanin's surface featured jagged, tumbled ranges of mountains as well as deep, forested valleys.[1]
Arporatal-Lanin was under the control of the aristocratic Ancient Houses of the Senex-Juvex and was known for its native[1] sentient species[2] known as the Arpor-Lans, who excelled as hunters, trackers, and scouts.[1] The Rebel Alliance scout Lieutenant Deeve was an Arpor-Lan from Arporatal-Lanin, where he learned numerous valuable skills related to scouting and tracking.[2]
Behind the scenes
Arporatal-Lanin was first mentioned in Alliance Intelligence Reports, a 1995 sourcebook for West End Games' Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game.[2] The 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas placed it in grid square K-18.[1]
