Armor-piercing warheads were a specific type of warhead utilized by concussion missiles and concussion bombs. The warhead contained a compact energy pack that released concussive blastwaves upon detonation. The explosive force disrupted instruments and equipment in addition to causing shock and blast damage.[1] Concussion missiles such as the ST2 concussion missile was equippped with an armor-piercing warhead.[2]
