"He became seriously ill the day before Palpatine left for the second Death Star, and so lost his chance to accompany the Emperor on that final journey. Had he gone along—who knows? Perhaps history would have been rewritten."
―Arliz Hadrassian speaking about her brother to Ransolm Casterfo[3]

A male human[2] was the brother of the human Arliz Hadrassian. Hadrassian's brother served as a member of the Emperor's Royal Guard during the Galactic Civil War. He was intended to accompany Emperor Palpatine to the second Death Star, but was unable to due to an illness, thus missing out on the Battle of Endor[3] in 4 ABY. In 5 ABY,[1] He was among the guards who had perished at the Battle of Jakku. Hadrassian remembered her brother through his guardsmen helmet, although she later sold the item to New Republic Senator Ransolm Casterfo to gain his trust. While conversing with Casterfo, Hadrassian told him about her brother and remarked that had he been present, her brother could have changed history at the Battle of Endor. Casterfo thought it would be unlikely for a single guard to thwart the entire rebel fleet, though he did not tell Hadrassian this.[3] As a member of the Emperor's Royal Guard, Arliz Hadrassian's brother was at least 1.83 meters tall.[4]

Behind the scenes

Arliz Hadrassian's brother was mentioned in the 2016 novel Bloodline, written by Claudia Gray.[3]
