Arian Vh'ra was a male pirate who lived on Tatooine during the time of the Galactic Civil War.[1] In 1 ABY,[2] Helen Goldenfield captured Vh'ra, along with another pirate named Itr Fairla, and held them in the basement of her ranch. A spacer helped Helen keep an eye on the pirates while she awaited the authorities. The pirates were then taken away by a pair of two Exogen-class dark troopers.[1]
Behind the scenes
Every possible depictions of Arian Vh'ra
Arian Vh'ra was a non-playable character in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts,[3] prior to its closure on December 15, 2011.[4] Because Arian Vh'ra spawned under the generic "commoner" template, their appearance was randomized under one of 120 possible depictions.[1]
Arian Vh'ra was added to the game as part of the "Hero of Tatooine" questline,[3] released with "Publish 9" on June 29, 2004.[5] The "Hero of Tatooine" questline was extensively revamped upon the introduction of the "Publish 25," a.k.a. the "New Game Enhancements," on November 15, 2005,[6] but the "Honor" portion was minimally modified. The two captured pirates were given proper names with this update,[1] replacing the the generic designation "a fugitive" used in the original version of the quest.[3]

Star Wars Galaxies (post-NGE) — Quest: "The Mark of the Hero" on Tatooine
- ↑ The opening crawl of Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided dates the game to after the events of Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope, and additionally, Serji-X Arrogantus, who died in Star Wars (1977) 10—the events of which The New Essential Chronology dates to 0 ABY—appears in the game. Therefore, at least a portion of Star Wars Galaxies must be set in that year. Furthermore, in the game Ruwan Tokai references the destruction of the Death Star as having occurred one year earlier, and Strongholds of Resistance also places the events of Galaxies' Chapter 9: "The Fury of Exar Kun" in 1 ABY. Lastly, while Chapter 11: "The Battle of Echo Base" features the Battle of Hoth—dated to 3 ABY by The New Essential Chronology—the developers have stated that the portrayal of that battle in the game is intentionally anachronistic. Therefore, the events of Star Wars Galaxies must span from 0 ABY to around 1 ABY.
