- "The one-eyed, high-leaping arges frog makes its home in the deserts and forests of several planets, although Arges is believed to be its planet of origin."
- ―From the journal of Ardis San Tekka
Arges was a planet that was believed to be the homeworld of the arges frog, a type of frog that had come to inhabit the forests and deserts of several other worlds, including Nevarro, Ossus, and Arvala-7, by the New Republic Era. Galactic Society of Creature Enthusiasts Director of Creature Cartography Ardis San Tekka mentioned Arges when writing about arges frogs in her journal[1] at some point after the Battle of Exegol in 35 ABY.[2]
Behind the scenes
The planet Arges was mentioned in the reference book Star Wars Bestiary, Vol. 1: Creatures of the Galaxy, which was written by S.T. Bende[1] and released on November 5, 2024.[3] Prior to the book's release, the page mentioning Arges was first revealed in a StarWars.com article published on October 22, 2024.[4]
