Arch-Provost was a governing position on Rendili. After the First Battle of Geonosis, during which the Acclamator-class assault ships were introduced, the Arch-Provost ordered industrial spies and starship designers to reduce Kuat's lead for new contracts handed out by the Galactic Republic.[1]

Behind the scenes

Arch-Provost was first mentioned in the current Star Wars canon in the forty-ninth issue of De Agostini's Star Wars: Build the Millennium Falcon magazine,[2] published around December 9, 2015.[3]
