Arch-Mage was a position within the Acolytes of the Beyond, a dark side cult. The human Yuan Howzell held the position during the Galactic Civil War. After Howell ordered members of the cult to retrieve a compendium from the Jedi Luke Skywalker and the pilot Rynn Zenat, one individual addressed her with the title.^[1]
