Aquatic battle droids were a type of battle droid used for underwater operations. When Jedi Grand Master Yoda, Jedi Master Mace Windu, Jedi Master Bant Eerin were testing Jedi Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi and Padawan Anakin Skywalker, a pair of aquatic battle droids were deployed against the mentor and apprentice on the planet Glee Anselm. Skywalker used animal control to make a whale attack them.^[1]
