The appraiser's eye was a model of cybernetic eye that was a combination of a scanner and a cross-reference tool. Each unit cost 700 credits and allowed the wearer to quickly identify various products and record local commodity prices.[1]

The appraiser's eye was mentioned in Gadgets and Gear, a roleplaying supplementary sourcebook for the Star Wars Roleplaying series that was published by Fantasy Flight Games in 2019.[1]
