- "Damn! I have a bad feeling about this place!"
"It's quite normal. After all, this tomb is 100,000 years old, at the very least. Now don't worry, there's a lot of work to do." - ―Two unidentified adventurers
An ancient tumulus dating back to ancient times was discovered on Tatooine at the time of the Galactic Civil War by archeologist Schardak. According to Schardak, this tomb was built roughly 100,000 years before the Imperial Era, and its builders were the first civilization to have lived on the planet.[1]
An ancient mummy wrapped in metallic cloth was discovered in the tumulus. Analysis revealed this mummy was cursed by ancient magic and was in fact a monster whose aim was to rule the galaxy by investing Palpatine's body.[1]
Behind the scenes
This mysterious tumulus was created by Jean Balczesak for the ambiguously canon roleplaying scenario "Le dieu mort" which appeared in the French magazine Casus Belli 66.
The builders of the tumulus might have been the Kumumgah, as they once were a technologically-advanced race of Tatooine in the pre-Republic era.[2][3]
