The ancient Muun tongue was a ancient[2] trade language used by the Muun species. The name of the Outer Rim Territories planet Mygeeto, which the Muuns named, meant "gem" in the trade language.[1]
Behind the scenes
The ancient Muun tongue was first mentioned, albeit unnamed, in Daniel Wallace and Jason Fry's 2009 reference book, The Essential Atlas.[1] The 2012 novel Darth Plagueis, by James Luceno, later identified it as such.[2]
