Amplifier pylons were thin devices used in power fences. When powered by a power fence generator, they produced crackling walls of solid, translucent blue-white energy that prevented objects and energy beams from passing through. Amplifier pylons were made out of durasteel and their bases were made out of stresscrete. They were generally five meters tall.[1]

Amplifier pylons were first mentioned in Fully Operational,[1] a 2018 sourcebook for the Star Wars: Age of Rebellion roleplaying game published by Fantasy Flight Games.[2]
