The term "amphibicanoid" was introduced in reference to the frog-dog in the short story "Lone Wolf: A Tale of Obi-Wan and Luke," written by Abel G. Peña and released on StarWars.com[1] on March 6th, 2015.[2] A frog-dog first appeared in the film Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi[3] on May 25th, 1983.[4]
