Amity was a Force-sensitive Human male raised by the Selonians^[2] and later a part of the Messengers of the Cold Moon.^[4]

Biography

«I was once a soldier in the Republic Army. I had seen my share of battle—of Jedi and Sith, Republic and Imperial troopers throwing away their lives.»

As an orphan, Amity was taken in by the Selonian Enclave on Corellia. He later enlisted in the Republic Army to repay their kindness, but during the Battle of Corellia he had a vision and told his commanding officer, Sull Caxe, who later instructed him not to tell anyone. The following day, Amity's vision came true when the Republic raided a factory and then deserted the Republic after the Sith Empire destroyed most of the sector.^[5] After leaving the Republic, he received more visions and asked the Jedi for help. The Jedi had rejected him for being too old, but he eventually met the elders of the Messengers of the Cold Moon, who accepted him to their group.^[1]

Personality and traits

After seeing so much death during his time in the Republic Army, Amity was tired of fighting and desired peace. However, he was a skilled warrior, and would fight if necessary.^[4] Amity had been severely wounded during his time in the Republic, and had a scorched face and blaster marks on his body. Because it made others uncomfortable to see his wounds, he wore armor to hide them. He also admitted that he preferred to hide his wounds anyway.^[1]

Equipment

After joining the Messengers of the Cold Moon, Amity wore armor to hide his wounds.^[1] He also carried an electrostaff for combat.^[4]

Behind the scenes

Amity was introduced as a companion in the 2023 Game Update 7.2.1 of Star Wars: The Old Republic: Legacy of the Sith, the eighth digital expansion to the MMORPG Star Wars: The Old Republic. Players can obtain Amity as a companion in the Galactic Season 4 "A Passage of Peace" event.^[2]
