Ame Llom, a female[1] member of a Near-Human alien species,[2] was a native of[1] the planet[3] Coruscant. On her homeworld, she frequented the Outlander Club,[1] a nightclub and gambling hall in the planet's Uscru Entertainment District,[4] during the last few years of the Galactic Republic.[1]
During a night In 22 BBY,[5] Llom visited the club and chatted with two Humans,[6] one of which was the woman Sne Wo.[2] Anakin Skywalker, a Jedi, passed by a laughing Llom and the Humans as he was searching for the bounty hunter Zam Wesell. Shortly after, Llom, holding a drink, walked with the other Human near the bar of the club. Just moments later, Wesell was disarmed by the Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi at the bar.[6]
Llom had blue-green skin,[2] brown eyes, and black hair.[1] While at the club,[6] she wore a beaded decoration on her forehead,[1] and a dark hooded top that showed her midriff.[6]
Behind the scenes
- "With her blue-green skin, Ame Llom is a near-human alien of a species not yet described in the Expanded Universe."
- ―Daniel Wallace
Ame Llom first appeared in the prequel trilogy film Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones,[6] which released on May 16, 2002.[3] The Outlander Club scenes including Llom, who was portrayed by uncredited extra,[6] were shot at Fox Studios, Sydney on July 17, 2000.[7] The character was first revealed when the extra playing Llom, in costume, introduced the fourth episode of the Episode II behind-the-scenes video series on location.[8] The episode, titled "The Man Behind C-3PO," was released on August 22, 2000.[9] "Ame Llom" is a backwards rearrangement of Mollema, the maiden name of Lucas Licensing employee Stacy Chergotis.[2]
Llom was first identified[2] in the April 6, 2004[10] article "Who's Who in the Outlander Club: It's Ladies' Night", written by Daniel Wallace and published in the seventy-fifth issue of Star Wars Insider. Wallace reveals in the article that the character is a member of an unidentified species.[2]
