During the Galactic Civil War, the Galactic Empire ambushed rebel Commander Arhul Narra of Red Squadron. Narra and members of Red Squadron were killed during the ambush.[1]

Behind the scenes

The ambush on Red Squadron was mentioned in canon through Star Wars Helmet Collection 3.[1] The battle originated in Star Wars Legends as an engagement in the Derra system before the Battle of Hoth.[3] The concept of a pre-Hoth ambush at Derra would be introduced into canon in Star Wars: Battles that Changed the Galaxy.[4] No source has yet to link the battles mentioned in Star Wars Helmet Collection 3 and Star Wars: Battles that Changed the Galaxy, as they were in Legends.

Star Wars: Galactic Atlas states that the Battle of Hoth took place in 3 ABY, and Lost Stars states that the base was inhabited for less than a month before the battle, so Narra's death must have occurred around 3 ABY.
