Altawar was the homeworld of the Corragut species, located in the Altawar system of the Corellian sector.

History

Altawar was the only inhabitable planet^[4] of the Altawar system,^[1] deep in the Corellian sector. It was discovered early in the history of the Galactic Republic. The native Corragut were considered the subjects of Corellia and were subject to Corellian rule^[3] as a "client planet", with trade, defense, and related matters taken out of Corragut hands.^[4]
