Alexander Siddig is a Sudanese[1]–British actor[3] who voiced Senator Avi Singh in the Disney+ animated series Star Wars: The Bad Batch's first season episode "Common Ground,"[4] released July 2, 2021.[5] Siddig did not reprise his role for Singh's appearance in the episode "Infiltration,"[6] which aired as part of the third season on March 13, 2024,[7] with the character instead being voiced by Danny Jacobs.[6]
Born November 21, 1965[1] in Omdurman, Sudan[2] as Siddig El Tahir El Fadil El Siddig Abderrahman Mohammed Ahmed Abdel Karim El Mahdi (shortened to Siddig El Fadil),[8] Siddig is well-known for his role as Dr. Julian Bashir in the television series Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.[3]
