An alarm system was a system of alarms placed aboard starships, as well as the Death Star I. Luke Skywalker shot Shann Childsen to keep him from activating the the alarm system installed on the first Death Star.
Networks of sensor beacons were set up as a type of alarm system.[1] Remote installations, such as moisture farms on the planet Tatooine, were protected by alarm sensors working in conjunction with security lighting and power fences.[2]
