Aksali Noll was the leader of the Starfallers, a scrap gang based on the moon Toshara in the Outer Rim.
Biography
- "Starfallers. I want nothing but professionalism when Thorden comes to pick up the moon. I know some of you doubted my decision to work with the Empire. Those who stayed loyal? You're about to be rich."
- ―Aksali Noll to her gang
When Noll was a young woman, she worked as a simple scavenger with her family. Eventually, she turned on her family and stared selling her services to the Galactic Empire. She used the ruthless tactics she learned while working for the Empire to lead the Starfallers to become one of the most dangerous bandit groups on Toshara.[1]
In 3 ABY,[2] she was hired by Thorden, the Imperial Governor of Toshara, to raid the casino cruiser Morenia during a Kessel Sabacc tournament and obtain the tournament's prize, the coordinates to the hidden moon Okala Five. As part of the raid, Thorden forced a gambler named Kay Vess to find a way to join the tournament with a bomb hidden in her tournament buy-in container. Noll activated the bomb during the tournament to cause a disruption and give her the chance to steal the data disc with the coordinates.[1]
After the initial attack, Noll and her the Starfallers made their way to the ship's hyperdrive to shut it down. Before they could, they were attacked by Lando Calrissian and Vess. Forcing her back, Vess next shut down the hyperdrive herself so she could get free of the ship. After the hyperdrive was down, Noll and the Starfallers escaped the Morenia and made their way back to Toshara. Once there, they arranged for Thordan to pick up the coordinates from their workshop in the Lost Steppe region.[1]
While waiting for the Empire, Noll confronted Kay Vess when she broke into the workshop in an effort to steal the coordinates. Vess tried to warn Noll that the Empire was planning an attack instead of an exchange. Noll did not believe her until the Empire started firing at her in the base. Thorden's stormtroopers proceeded to capture Noll and take the coordinates. After they sent the coordinates off to Thorden, but before they could transport Noll off, Kay Vess came to her rescue. After her rescue, Noll informed Vess that the coordinates were being taken to Thorden's personal bunker in Mirogana, the capital city of Toshara. Noll then left to lay low.[1]
