The akonije trees were native to the planet Thyferra.[2] Akonije trees grew through and on the roof of the main building of the Xucphra City spaceport.[1] On the way to the Raid on the Dlarit estate as part of the Bacta War, Iella Wessiri hunkered beside the trunk of an akonije tree.[2]
