The Afe clan was a clan of Cyphari on the planet of Cyphar that possessed territory near a human colony and a Twi'lek settlement and was led by Chief Joko. Over time however, the human colonists began trespassing into Afe territory after the alleged discovery of minerals, and the clan and colonists engaged in a land dispute. Eventually the naval forces of the Galactic Empire were sent to aid the Afe clan and end the conflict. Commander Thrawn found the source of the dispute: a vein of pre spice in Afe croplands that several of the colonists were eager to obtain. Thrawn ended the dispute by destroying the pre spice.[1]
