Achk Med-Beq[2] was a human, present in the Outlander Club on Coruscant and conversing with Ayy Vida and Lunae Minx, when Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker showed up in pursuit of the changeling assassin Zam Wesell.[1] Med-Beq was a known associate of Dannl Faytonni, who also attended the club that night. By the time Kenobi and Skywalker were assisting Wesell at the back of the establishment, Med-Beq and Faytonni were patrolling the second floor of the Outlander conjuring.[2]
Behind the scenes
Achk was portrayed by Ahmed Best, who also played Jar Jar Binks throughout the prequel trilogy.[1] He shares the cameo with George Lucas's daughter Katie Lucas, who plays Lunae Minx. In an interview on The Star Wars Show, Best stated that Beq was related to the Jedi Master Kelleran Beq, who Best portrayed in Star Wars: Jedi Temple Challenge and Star Wars: The Mandalorian, though no canonical source has yet confirmed the relation.[3]
