- "The [system] most fitting their needs is the Abraxas system."
- ―Von Asch
The Abraxas system was a star system located within the Yushan sector[1] in the Mid Rim[4] of the galaxy and included the planets Abraxas and Radix. The system, dubbed a "death trap" by Lando Calrissian's associate, Captain Kine, was cluttered with derelict spacecraft and abandoned orbital factories. Debris caught by the planetary gravity wells was flung about in a deadly dance which made navigating the system nearly impossible. Abraxas' space was prone to causing sensory rebounds and false readings, called "ghosts".
