The Aaron system was a star system located within the Tharin sector of the Outer Rim Territories.[1]
Behind the scenes
The 1988 video game, Star Wars: Droids video game,[3] box packaging description and manual mention "Ingo's moon — Auren". A 1998 Star Wars Insider article, included a reference to the game's fanon title, Star Wars: Droids - Escape from Aaron[4] that was circulating the internet at the time, while 2009's, Star Wars: The Essential Atlas Online Companion later listed an "Aaron system" based on these fan misspellings of the moon, Auren. The error was further compounded by the 2013 StarWars.com article The Droids Re-Animated, Part 2 mentioning a "planet Aaron".[5] The error has been raised with the creators of The Essential Atlas and been flagged for correction in future updates to the Star Wars: The Essential Atlas Online Companion.[source?]
