A Separatist base was established on the planet Aargonar during the Clone Wars against the Galactic Republic. The husband of Senator Mina Bonteri, an officer in the Confederacy military, assisted in the installation's establishment when Republic clone troopers were sent to Aargonar and attacked the site, resulting in the death of Bonteri's husband.[1]

Behind the scenes

The Aargonar Separatist base was first mentioned in "Heroes on Both Sides,"[1] the tenth episode of the third season of the Star Wars: The Clone Wars television series, which aired on November 19, 2010.[2]
