AV-9R was a protocol droid used by the Galactic Republic during the Galactic War. In 3639 BBY AV-9R was on the Carrick Station, where he suffered a mobility malfunction. While being repaired by technician Mua Niab, AV-9R relayed to an important figure a coded priority message from Supreme Chancellor Leontyne Saresh regarding the Battle of Denova.[1]
Behind the scenes
AV-9R appears in the video game Star Wars: The Old Republic as the Operation courier for the "Explosive Conflict" operation. Originally present on the Carrick Station, he was moved to Gav Daragon with Update 4.0.
