AT-AT commanders were Imperial Army officers who were placed in command of the Empire's All Terrain Armored Transports. AT-AT commanders served as the leader of the command crew of an AT-AT, overseeing the pilot and gunner.[1] Commanders used the vehicle's electrorangefinder to accurately direct the walker's weapons fire.[2]
