- "As instructed, we have observed the Quarren Ultus at the Sabacc tables. Behavior analysis reveals that he is indeed a habitual cheater."
- ―Data dispatch by A-477
A-477 was a security droid that worked for the casino cruiser Morenia[1] in 3 ABY. That year,[2] A-477 dispatched a report to the ship's database which detailed the cheating habits of a Quarren gambler named Ultus. The report noted that Ultus was a habitual cheater who played with his chips to distract other players when he was palming a card with his other hand.[1]
In 3 ABY,[2] the scoundrel Kay Vess sliced into the ship's database and viewed A-477's report on Ultus. She later used this information to have Ultus removed from the Okala Five Kessel Sabacc tournament after she witnessed him cheating.[1]
Behind the scenes
A-477 was mentioned in a datapad entry in the "Wild Card" expansion for the Massive Entertainment video game Star Wars Outlaws,[1] which was released on November 21, 2024.[3] Viewing the report is an optional interaction in the expansion and rewards the player with the ability to call out Ultus's cheating during the tournament which results in his removal from the tournament.[1]
