8R-UH was an astromech droid who served the Resistance on the planet Ajan Kloss during the First Order-Resistance War. The droid was one of five astromechs who worked under R5-2JE and who were all absent from their jobs at the landing pad one day. 8R-UH was sunbathing atop a nearby cliff, seeking to soak up every last ray of sunshine before returning to work. After being interrupted from sunbathing, the 8R-UH remarked that this had been his "worst tropical vacation ever."[1]

Behind the scenes

8R-UH appeared in the 2022 non-canon video game LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, published by TT Games. His name's spelling resembles the slang word "bruh," which he also used in conversation with the player character.[1]
