11-3K viper probe droids were a variant of Viper probe droid used by the Galactic Empire. They were commonly used for investigation, exploration, and reconnaissance. They included a rotating blaster collar assembly and an articulated manipulator with sampling claws.[2] It was more heavily armored than the standard Viper probe droid, and as such was used on remote planets such as Vandor[5], Koboh and Jedha[6].
