You can create an account and log into Fandom using your existing Facebook, Google, Twitch or Apple account. It helps speed up the account creation process by allowing you to use an existing social account, and you will not need to remember separate login credentials for Fandom.
Creating a new Fandom account
- Once you're in the signup screen, you can click on any of the buttons from the left column (Connect an account): Connect with Facebook, Connect with Google, Connect with Twitch or Connect with Apple.
- If you're not logged in already on your social account, you would be redirected to the provider website, requesting you to log in with your username or email address and the password you're using on this external platform.
- Once you're logged in, the email from your social account will be automatically assigned to your new Fandom account. You have to choose an available username and add your birthdate.
- Before proceeding, you should comply with our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
- Once that's done, click on "Connect with Facebook/Google/Twitch/Apple".
- Your account is now created and connected!
When using a mobile device, the options are the same and the interface is adapted to your screen.
If you already have an account, you don't need to create a new one and you can simply log in.
Log in into an existing Fandom account
- Once you're in the sign in screen, you can click on any of the buttons from the left column (Sign in with account): Sign in with Google, Sign in with Facebook, Sign in with Twitch or Sign in with Apple.
- If you're not logged in already into your social account, you would be redirected to the provider website, requesting you to log in with your username or email address and the password you're using on this external platform. You will not need to enter your Fandom username or password. Once you enter your social login information, it will automatically load your Fandom account.
- If you don't have a previous Fandom account related to the email address used on your social account, you will be prompted to create a new account using this email address.
- If you are already logged into Google, Facebook, Twitch, or Apple, you can simply click on the corresponding button and be automatically logged into Fandom.
Connecting and disconnecting your existing Fandom account from social accounts
- If you already have a Fandom account, log in and visit your preferences (available in the menu under your username, at the top right of the screen).
- In the first tab ("User profile"), at the bottom of the first section ("Basic information"), there is a link "Connect accounts" for the "My accounts" section, which leads you to a page to change your account information.
- At the middle of this page, there is a section called "Connected Accounts". If you didn't connect your social accounts when you created your Fandom account, you can do it by clicking on "Connect with Google", "Connect with Facebook", "Connect with Twitch", and/or "Connect with Apple", according to your preferences.
- Your Fandom account will now be connected to your social account/s.
- To disconnect, simply click on the button labeled "Disconnect from Google", "Disconnect from Facebook", "Disconnect from Twitch", or "Disconnect from Apple", respectively.
- If you disconnect your social accounts, you will continue to use the password you previously set for your Fandom account.
- If you never previously had a password on Fandom, Fandom will automatically send you an email with instructions on how to set one.
You can locate your preferences menu easily by clicking your avatar.
Once you're in the preferences, you can find the option to "Connect accounts" in the first section of the "User profile" tab.
Account settings and privacy
- Facebook, Google, Twitch, and Apple account passwords are stored with the respective company, not on Fandom. If you lose or alter your password, please contact that platform directly.
- If you had a Fandom account prior to connecting with Facebook, Google, Twitch, or Apple, you can still use that account information to log in at any time.
