Mandy, Georgie, and the family.
George Jr. and Mandy's wedding is the wedding of George Cooper Jr. and Amanda McAllister in the episode "A Proper Wedding and Skeletons in the Closet", which is in Season 7 of Young Sheldon. The wedding took place in City Hall since Georgie and Mandy wanted to elope and get married without their parents' knowledge, but everyone eventually attends the ceremony.
History
Series of events
Georgie and Mandy decide to get married.
In the episode "Baptists, Catholics and an Attempted Drowning, Georgie and Mandy's mothers each tried to baptize CeeCee against the wishes of her parents. Mary tried to baptize her as Baptist while Audrey wanted to baptize her as Catholic. After finding out what the two mothers tried to do, Mandy becomes furious at both for making decisions about her own daughter without her consent. After talking to Georgie, Mandy makes up her mind and finally agrees to Georgie's wish for the two of them to get married.
Wedding
You're saying she's illegitimate?
In the next episode "A Proper Wedding and Skeletons in the Closet", Georgie and Mandy are at city hall with Meemaw, Dale, and Ceecee waiting for their turn. Georgie implies that CeeCee is illegitimate which annoys Mandy, and Meemaw suggests that she hold the baby in case Mandy would like to smack Georgie for what he said.
The Coopers running in.
Just then, George, Mary, and Missy come running in to not miss the wedding. Meemaw reveals that she was the one who told them, but that Mandy can't smack her because she is holding the baby. The Coopers find out that they did not miss the wedding, with Mary pleading to Georgie and Mandy to let her be a part of the wedding. Missy also comments that she only has "one brother" to be a part of a wedding, implying her belief that Sheldon would never get married.[1]
Audrey wants to be included.
Right when Georgie and Mandy are called up, Audrey and Jim also come running in. This time, it was George who told Jim. The two dads also discuss the long hallway and brutal stairs as Jim tries to catch his breath. Like Mary, Audrey pleads with Georgie and Mandy to be a part of this wedding. Mandy asks Georgie about what he thinks, but he avoids the questions by saying that they are thinking the same thing. Mandy decides that both families can stay.
Walking "down the aisle".
As the group enters the room, Jim becomes disappointed that he can't walk his daughter down the aisle because there isn't one. Mandy then takes her father outside so they can kind of walk down the aisle by walking slowly into the room.
Officially getting married.
As the officiant Lyndon starts the marriage process, Meemaw requests that he stand up and show some respect. After both Georgie and Mandy finish saying "I do", Lyndon announces them as husband and wife and the two lovingly kiss. Everyone else applauds, and the wedding concludes smoothly.
