- The console had prices up to $130, and was considered expensive even by VTech's price standards.
- The Socrates has had a small amount of hobbyist who have worked on gaining more info for this console, and have also created emulation for this console.
- The console sometimes came with a coupon for $10 off the AC adapter. It expired on May 31, 1990.
