The Zssik Clan was a clan of Trandoshan mercenaries that was based on Trandosha, the Trandoshan homeworld. The clan mercilessly raided the planet Kashyyyk in order to provide the Galactic Empire with Wookiee slaves as part of a contract.[1]
Behind the scenes
In the new Star Wars canon, the Zssik Clan was first mentioned in the 2019 Fantasy Flight Games roleplaying game supplement Allies and Adversaries.[1] The clan originated in Star Wars Legends, where it first appeared in Rage of the Wookiees, a 2005 expansion to the video game Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided.[2]
