Zonyuura (Japanese: ゾニューラ) were a kind of organism native to the icy surface of Hoth. They were capable of leaping up to the height of an average human, around double their own height, to attack threats.[1]

Behind the scenes

These creatures first appeared in the 1987 Japanese Star Wars video game for the Famicom home console.[2] Their name was revealed in the Japanese language guide of the game serialized in Family Computer Magazine, in which it was rendered as ゾニューラ (Zonyuura) in katakana syllabary.[1]
