- "The holocron revealed much about the creation of warbeasts, but Ziost's breeding pens provided a more immediate education."
- ―An extract from the Chronicle of Sorzus Syn, 6899 BBY
Ziost's breeding pens, located on Ziost, were the places where Kissai Ninûshwodzakut created and hybridized warbeasts for the Sith. Following the acquisition of the Holocron of King Nakgru in 6899 BBY,[2] Jen'jidai Sorzus Syn visited the breeding pens and studied the creation of warbeasts, including such creatures as silooth, warbirds, war behemoths, hssiss, terentatek, battle hydras, chrysalides, war wyrms and guardian beasts called tuk'ata. In her titular chronicle, Syn remarked what a "delight" it was to land among the fellow alchemists.[1]
Behind the scenes
Ziost's breeding pens were first mentioned in the resource guide Book of Sith: Secrets from the Dark Side, which was written by Daniel Wallace.[1]
