A zeftgeist was a creature that ate grain.[1] In 232 BBY,[2] the Dalnan Honesty Weft expressed his frustration about having to accompany a Dalnan delegation to the Galactic Republic space station Starlight Beacon so the Outer Rim planet Dalna could join the Republic. In response, his father—Ambassador Weft—told him to appreciate the opportunity to witness history and compared him to a spoiled zeftgeist fat from too much grain.[1]
