Zaur was the second planet in orbit around the star Zug in the Zug system,[2] which was located in the Arrowhead region, where the Core Worlds intersected the Slice.[1] The planet had no moons and was completely covered in a methane ocean.[2]
Behind the scenes
Zaur was mentioned in "Three Simple Laws," the first article in the Planet Hoppers series Aargau: For All Your Banking Needs, which was written by Cory J. Herndon and published by Wizards of the Coast on Wizards.com on August 7, 2003.[2] The 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas later placed the Zug system, and therefore Zaur, in grid square L-10.[1]
