Zalorian was the name given to the inhabitants of the planet Zaloriis, covering the Human population and creatures such as the rock-lion. During the Galactic Civil War the Humans led by Zalor Minister Transe Decar formed a movement to secede from the Galactic Empire, but the insurrection was defeated by the Sith Lord Darth Vader and the Imperial Army.
Behind the scenes
The in-game databank of Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds referred to the group as "Zaloriians", however in every other instance in the game and in subsequent sources the spelling "Zalorian" is used
