Although this article is based on canonical information, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture.

The Hunter Zaina had a[2] non-binary[1] trainer who worked with her as she participated in combat exhibition matches in the Grand Arena on the Outer Rim planet Vespaara for the Hunters of the Outer Rim. At some point during the New Republic Era, they assisted Zaina with her prostetic legs as she prepared for her next fight.[2]

Behind the scenes

Zaina's trainer appeared in the 2023 middle grade novel Hunters: Battle for the Arena, written by Mark Oshiro.[2] Oshiro confirmed that the usage of singular "they/them" pronouns was meant to convey the character was non-binary.[1]
