Zahra's raider crew was a group of raiders who operated during the Imperial Era. After being left for dead by Princess Leia Organa on Panisia, former Imperial Commander Ellian Zahra found the raiders and joined their ranks as their new leader, providing her tactical expertise to make them rich in exchange for the criminals' loyalty. Under Zahra's orders, the raiders attacked the Alderaanian Survivor Fleet in order to lure Organa into a trap and capture her. However, Organa’s older twin brother Jedi Commander Luke Skywalker, who Zahra also wanted to capture so she could return to the Imperial Navy and get promoted to Admiral by Galactic Emperor Sheev Palpatine himself, boarded her starship and fought off the raiders while rebel pilot Lieutenant Evaan Verlaine went to get help from the Rebel Alliance. Faced by the imminent rebel threat, the raiders fled without Zahra.[1] By the time Zahra captured Organa and Skywalker, the raiders possessed a number of starfighters including a Pirate Snub Fighter, and three larger starships, including two Raider-class corvettes.[2]
