A ZX-19 compressor was a starship component. In the New Republic era, they were considered compatible with old Sheathipede-class transport shuttles. During 34 ABY,[2] Hallion Nark[3] brought his ship, a Sheathipede-class transport shuttle, to Yeager's Repairs on the Colossus station for maintenance. Jarek Yeager, the owner of the repair shop, instructed Kazuda Xiono, a Resistance spy masquerading as a mechanic, to go to the Office of Acquisitions and pick up a ZX-19 compressor. Xiono exchanged three credit chips to Flix and Orka,[1] the owners of Acquisitions,[4] for the compressor.[1]
Xiono returned to the repair shop late, much to Yeager's ire. Yeager instructed Xiono to install the compressor immediately. Tamara Ryvora, another mechanic working for Yeager, told Xiono to turn his tool left to right, not right to left, during the installation.[1]
