After the ancient Neti Jedi Master Ood Bnar sacrificed himself to destroy Imperial Executor Sedriss QL on the planet Ossus[1] in 10 ABY,[2] a Neti seedling burst out of the ground after his death to preserve Bnar's legacy and watch over Ossus and the ruins of the Great Jedi Library.[3]
